I just wanted to reach out to you to tell you how much “Remember Me!” helped me during my career search and interview process. It has fantastic advice, and I have been recommending it to my friends who are also going through the career search process. I now have a job as a Marketing Coordinator, and the interviewers (now my bosses) complimented me on my interview etiquette (most of which I learned from “Remember Me!”). Thank you again, I am very appreciative of your work.

REMEMBER ME!, is a book that every graduating student should be familiar with. It provides insight and job-search techniques that only an experienced professional would know. Mark has captured every aspect of the job-search process in a way that all first- time job seekers will be able to follow.

This stuff works. All of it. REMEMBER ME! reminds us that people appreciate every little thing, and all those little things add up to getting you the interviews that get you the job! I still go back to my notes from Mark’s course when prepping for an interview. Thank you Mark! These principles need to be taught to everyone!

I am very grateful for the Remember-Me factor. Mark’s classes and book provided a positive influence, not only in my career and professional life, but also in my personal development. It has given me inner strength to build confidence and self-esteem, and it has helped me improve my social skills as well as my attitude towards life. Mark, thank you for giving me opportunity to improve my self-awareness, and allowing me to reach the point where I can confidently say, I can be whatever I want to be.

Mark has been instructing job-search courses for over 10 years and his book REMEMBER ME! offers techniques and tips acquired from his teaching and observing the job-search process from the perspective of graduating students. Students love Mark’s course and the way he delivers it.

I am so excited to hear about Mark’s book. Many times our class would use the phrase ‘Remember Me!’ We coined, ‘Mark’s REMEMBER ME!’ as a phrase to remember all that he taught us in his job-search course. Actually, on one interview, I couldn’t think how they could remember me, so I just wore the (Remember Me!) button he gave us. This was the one course, we will always remember, …Probably the one course that had the biggest impact on us as far as getting a job in a very competitive field….priceless skills we will use forever.

I found Mark Wicken’s course Remember Me! was a key part in finding my first job in the design field. Even though I had quite a bit of experience interviewing and applying to jobs before, Mark opened my eyes to some key mistakes that I had been making and helped me hone my interview skills as well as streamline my resumé. I was able to cold call my “dream” employer, interview, work as an intern and then turn that position into full-time employment. He even helped me figure out how to negotiate a contract when the time came. With so few jobs and so many talented graduates it was great to have this leg up in getting my first job.

Mark provided a new perspective on the real objectives of submitting a resume, a cover letter, and following up that helped me as a student understand exactly what I was communicating to a potential employer, and what they were gathering from it on the receiving end. The steps and tools Mark outlined revolutionized the way I viewed the job application process. Following the guidance of someone who has been on the receiving end of job applications for a long time enabled me to truly tailor every word I wrote to a potential employer, to give them the clearest and most concise version of myself and why I was perfect for the job

Mark’s job search strategy gives you the edge when it comes to making an impression on your future employer. When you’ve hit all the key ‘Remember Me’ points leading up to the job interview, in the interview itself, and after the interview, you come out feeling pretty confident. Employing those tactics helped me land my first design job out of school.
